9) Position:Relationship Manager
Description: A leading investment bank seeks to appoint a Relationship Manager to assist with the development, growth and successful management of the portfolio of Nigerian banks from a monitoring and administrative perspective.

Key responsibilities will be;
Engage with customers for query resolution and information gathering
Assist in preparation and collation of client business and marketing plans, and in credit reviews that are consistent with strategy
Gather information related to customers in news publications and maintain information database on respective customers and sectors by using Group Standard Systems
Assist credit analyst in preparing timely submitting credit proposals for designated clients for review and consideration by Group Credit
Work positively with other parts of the Bank and nurture a culture of cross selling and sharing

Our client is looking for an experienced manager who canbe influential in the marketing of the fund to the international investor community

As Managing Partner you will be responsible for:
managing the general business activities of the fund in Kenya
assisting in the marketing and investor relations of the fund
identifying opportunities and deal flow for investment in the region
managing the local regulatory and operational structure for the fund
upholding corporate governance, compliance and Code of Ethicsstandards

You will have the following attributes or experience:
an established and broad network of business and professional contacts in Eastern and Sub-Saharan Africa
an established network in the regional and international investment community, which will assist in fund raising activities
mobility and willingness to travel extensively
a minimum of 10 years business work experience, ideally with an exposure to finance, banking, accounting or law ,and exposure to Private Equity will be highly regarded
extensive deal origination and execution experience
a clear understanding of the tax and legal frameworks within the region
extremely financially literate;
relevant tertiary education professional qualifications, including but not limited to CA, LLB or Engineering background
